We are local to Ohio, and we absolutely love supporting the community in any way we can! We discovered Local Millers a few years ago and exclusively source our specialty grains from them. This was the first time we experienced grains such as Red Fife and Rouge de Bordeaux, and all from no more than a few hours drive. We invite you to check out their wares! We also encourage anyone beyond the stay of Ohio to investigate what local farms offer in terms of grain! You never know what's to gain!

Spices are tricky. Who do you trust to supply them? Where did they come from? How much are you willing to pay? Because some places will charge you as much as they can for something as simple as Green Cardamom. We appreciate and love Penzeys Spices. They're local, have a wonderful selection of spices and offer varying amounts to ease your budget. 

However, we often shop at local family owned establishments to source our spices. The Nepali grocer down the way from us offers a deal on Brown mustard seed we just can't ignore. While the Mediterranean shop across town has Black Lemon for sale.
