Welcome to Cardinal Crust and Crumb

Welcome to Cardinal Crust and Crumb, where every meal tells a story. Food is more than sustenance—it's a journey that connects us through people, traditions, and shared experiences. We celebrate the moments, memories, and flavors that bring us together, one bite at a time.

Experience Stories

Humans tell stories, we always have. Yet, seldom do these tales come with a taste of what they convey.

Find recipes inspired from video games, books, television shows and movies here.

Cardinal Ventures

Something different

Most online recipe blogs often stuff an abhorrent amount of "this is why I'm making it" and "here's how to do it".  This generates revenue for them by forcing you the reader to scroll through it all or use a (often broken button) "jump to recipe" button to get to the grit of why you're there by dumping ads throughout the scroll.

Ad revenue is a sin.

We hate that. HATE IT.

You're here for a recipe and a story (if you so desire). You are not here to have capitalistic crap shoved down your throat.

We will give you the ingredients. We will give you the whys and whats of a recipe. And then, only then, will we go into details.

The reason? Only you know how to cook in your kitchen as we do ours. Stick any one of us in your kitchen and we will most likely flounder. Why? Because when you are baking or cooking, you are dancing and flitting about the familiarity of your kitchen. It is a dance of creation. So we will give you the important parts first, and if you so chose, you then have the OPTION to read the story behind each dish.

No human ever makes the same dish twice,

for it's not the same ingredients and they are not the same person.
